While a chain-gang of convicts scrap roadkill armadillos off the highway, three convicts Harry (Jeremy Northam), Wayne (Steve Zahn) and Bob escape. Here are some shows that have favoured status because they tell tales of the self-inflicted results of recklessness with arch wit and lurid sensationalism and convoluted plotting. They cause chilly unease and are yums, let’s hope they don’t have prophetic accuracy.

Bobby Mann, which is the worst name ever. This is what they thought the 21st century would be like in 1992. It has a certain charm mostly due to Yancy Butler as Eve.

This mini-series was seriously weird. They just don’t make mini-series’ like this anymore, the miniseries ‘The Triangle’ from a few years back was nothing compared to this Oliver Stone insanity.
